How to Choose Proper Online Marketing Type and Tool

What is online marketing and what isn’t an online marketing? When we talk about modern web marketing, we’re talking about driving traffic or boosting visibility. Any type of advertising done on the internet to promote any product, person, service, business or place for that matter, can be online marketing. Online marketing has the same issue with three pillars of trust, which must have your attention first and foremost.

Marketing has many types, but most essentials are:
·         SEO – this is the core tactic for any marketing strategy. It may seem difficult for the first time, but when you understand the right way of doing it, everything will start going smoothly.
·         SEM is like SEO, but for social networks. It provides an avenue for displaying ads through networks such as Google’s AdWords and other paid search platforms that exist across the web throughout social media sites like Facebook, Instagram and even video sites like YouTube. SEM covers paying for clicks and for impressions.
·         The most used form of marketing today is social media marketing (SMM). It’s the best way to reach to lots of people, but it’s not so simple to do, especially when we’re talking about millions of followers. And even in case of success, it won’t happen in one day.
·         PPC advertising is another method of advertising on search engines. With PPC ads, you pay each time your ad is clicked on. These ads also exist on social media platforms. But you need to understand very well the rates of pixels. Re-targeting is maybe the most effective way to advertise yourself online. Your ads are being shown, to “warm” traffic, or people who’ve already visited your site. While using PPC it’s important to maintain specific ads and keywords that you’re targeting.
·         Influencers are everywhere today, so don’t hesitate to market your products or services via them. But you need to find the right one for your company. It’s not the most important to go to the top-tier influencers; you can also work with micro-influencers (10,000 to 100,000 followers or fans). But it can be still very costy for you.
·         Blogging gives you a free platform, where you can gather your own massive audience as long as you keep working on it. Best blogs can gain millions.
